The Braeside Inn was Built in 1938 and has been totally refurbished. The Inn is situated on a five acre wooded hillside site located in the center of Historic Pictou Town. founded in 1773. The inn has 18 well-appointed A/C rooms and suites, a fully licensed dining room specializing in seafood, an attractive guest sitting room and full conference and meeting facilities.
The Braeside Inn is situated on a hill, overlooking historic Pictou Harbour, and is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs, marinas, theatre, boutiques and museums in the town center. The Town of Pictou is rich in Scottish heritage and culture. The first permanent settlers arrived in 1767. Pictou is proud to be known as the birthplace of "New Scotland". Pictou County has the warmest ocean water north of the Caroliners; there are several beaches near by.
